Our Pastoral Assistant’s Bishops’ Advisory Panel

Early this coming week our pastoral assistant Alex, along with fifteen other people thinking about ordination, will spend three days at what is known as a Bishop’s Advisory Panel selection conference (BAP for short). Through interviews, conversations and group activities a number of experienced church people, clergy and lay, will seek to discern whether candidates should begin the formal process of training for the priesthood. Please keep Alex and everyone else involved in the process in your prayers, asking that the Holy Spirit will make God’s will known for them.
