Taizé Worship

Last Sunday we held a meditative Taizé style service. In candlelight, we gathered around the icon of The Hospitality of Abraham to reflect on the Holy Trinity and the invitation of the icon itself with few words and simple music. The liturgy was repetitive and provided a rythym for deep reflection and time for personal prayer.

Within our three churches, and with Hornsey Parish Church, we have started to offer evening services in alternative styles to that of the morning. Choral Evensong, Benediction, and Taizé services have been held so far and we hope to expand our range. We also hope that people may like to be involved in the planning and leadership of these services. If you are interested in taking part then please speak to Damien or Max.
