Sunday 11th November was Remembrance Sunday, Armistice Day and the commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the cessation of hostilities in World War One. Holy Trinity marked this important occasion with an Act of Remembrance in the Peace Garden at the junction of Granville Road which included two minutes silence at 11.00 am and the laying of a wreath at the base of the War Memorial there.

A number of people from the community were present and the Act of Remembrance was followed by a Mass of Requiem in church for all who have been killed in recent times in armed conflict.DSC_0010
