A night to remember. Fr Philip's first mass.

The church was at its best - beautifully dressed in red for the Mass of the Holy Spirit on the night when she celebrates the birth of John the Baptist.

There are many people to thank for making this night so memorable: Holy Trinity who created something truly special and offered their warm hospitality to over 250 guests from all over the country and abroad.

Thanks also to the two permanent deacons - Denis Hartley and David Rogers - who assisted and looked after Fr Philip. And Fr Robin Whitehead who preached so vividly on what a journey towards the priesthood can entail.

Finally, Fr Philip would like to express a special thanks to Fr Patrick, who worked so hard in helping him prepare for his first mass and acting as MC priest on the night.
