Christmas Services

All are most welcome to any of our services over the Christmas period!

Thursday 13th December
Christingle Service (7.30pm)
This will be the last meeting of the Brownies and Guides who meet regularly on a Thursday Evening in the Church Hall – everyone is welcome to join us. This traditional service includes lighting of a candle, symbolising the light of Christ coming into our lives, which you can take home with you along with other symbols distributed as part of the sung worship.

Monday 17th December
Carols on the Green (7.00pm)
A small choir will be singing traditional carols and other music suitable to the festive season on the green on the corner of Granville Road/Stapleton Hall Road – come and listen or join in! The more, the merrier; and we hope to retire inside afterwards for a glass of something warm.

Fourth Sunday of Advent: Sunday 23rd December
Parish Mass (11.30am)
We will light the fourth candle on the Advent wreath as part of the usual Sunday morning liturgy – today’s thoughts are focussed on Mary, the Mother of Our Lord, as we prepare for the joys of welcoming Christ into our hearts on Christmas Day.

Christmas Eve: Monday 24th December
Crib Service (4.00pm)
