North London Pastoral Assistants

Our parishes are part of a scheme which runs across Churches in North London recruiting younger people to work as Pastoral Assistants. Each year we appoint three Pastoral Assistants to spend a year serving others by living, working and praying in our three diverse parishes along with Hornsey Parish Church. It has proved a life-changing experience for these young people and given the benefits of new gifts and fresh insights to our churches. Pastoral Assistants get involved in all aspects of ministry here.

Pastoral Assistant placements also provide a steady stream of young ordinands to the wider Church. We offer excellent supervision, formation and guidance for those in the process of discernment and work in conjunction with sister schemes in Camden and Tottenham to form the scheme called North London Pastoral Assistants.

The North London Pastoral Assistants website is a useful place to look if you are interested in exploring this role further.
