We have regular worship each week, the most popular being Sunday morning mass at 11.30am. This mass or 'Eucharist' also includes special arrangements for children where they have the opportunity to learn and play. 'Trinity Children' are supervised by specially trained and CRB checked parishioners within our congregation. As an Anglo-Catholic parish within the Church of England, the style of worship uses the modern Roman rite. All visitors who are baptised and confirmed are welcome to receive communion during mass. After mass, there is the opportunity to get to know others with tea and coffee and other refreshments. about mass The Mass - also refered to as 'Eucharist', 'Holy Communion' or 'The Lord’s Supper' - is a Christian sacrament. Bread and wine are consecrated in commemoration of the Last Supper - the final meal that Jesus Christ shared with his disciples before his arrest, and eventual crucifixion, when he gave them bread saying, “This is my body”, and wine saying, “This is my blood.” morning prayer Is the day-to-day heartbeat of the church, The Divine Office is recited at various times during the day beginning with morning prayer. The prayerful structure consists of reciting some psalms, a short passage of scripture for the day, the Benedictus (which changes to the Magnificatat evening prayer) and intercessionsl. It is a truly peaceful and enriching way to start the day. |
