We are planning a trip for the children of our three parishes to Westminster Abbey. It will be on Saturday 10th November, and will tie in with activities for Remembrance Day: we hope to visit the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and the Field of Remembrance.

The visit will be led by Lou Cash, a congregant at Holy Innocents, who works in the education office at the Abbey. We will meet at Holy Innocents at 9.30 and aim to be back at 2, travelling on the bus and tube with a suitable number of adults to take charge. Because of numbers in the tour of the Abbey, however, we are unfortunately unable to invite parents to attend the visit.
Because there is no transport charge for children, and the tour is also free, there is no charge for the trip. Children will need to bring their own packed lunch. The tour is aimed at children of all ages but may benefit older children better: we do ask, however, that children are at least 5.

If you are interested in the visit, please contact Max. Places will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
