Confirmation
On Friday 15th November the Bishop of Edmonton came to Holy Trinity to confirm nine people from our parishes. It was a very joyful occasion for those who were confirmed and the large congregation enjoyed lovely music and liturgy.
In his homily Bishop Peter spoke of TV shows like Strictly Come Dancing and The X Factor and he encouraged the congregation to think about how they might use their own gifts and talents in the service of Christ and the Church.
After Mass there was time for lots of photos to be taken and then everyone made their way to the hall for a magnificent Parish Supper.
Another added joy was that, following his recent heart attack, Fr Patrick had made such a wonderful recovery that he was able to be with us and concelebrated with the Bishop.
