Trinity Fair success (despite the rain!)

On Saturday 7th June we held our Trinity Fair, with lots of varied stalls, from face painting to a plant stall, and everything in between. Despite the downpour as we kicked off the day, we rallied on, with over a hundred people coming. It turned out to be a great community event, with much fun had by all. Over £1200 was raised for church funds. One local resident who visited said “It’s just amazing. When people pull together like this its just great. There is such a good atmosphere here, with many fantastic stalls and activities, especially for the children. Holy Trinity’s congregation should be so proud of what they can achieve together”.

Fantastic Trinity Concert

We held our annual Trinity Concert on the 17th May, with a mix of local and not so local musicians and singers coming together to perform various pieces of music. St Aidan’s C of E School Choir also joined us to perform four pieces of music about the patron Saints of the British Ilse. A total of £1030 was raised for the Makikita Quykuway Peruvian children’s charity – a truly fantastic result! Thank you to all who took part and helped in any way.
