Next Sunday 16th October at 6pm there will be  a service of Taize. This is a very simple, quiet and reflective service featuring some chants from the Taize community in France, as well as some readings, prayers and a few moments of silence.

This month, we will be focusing on Mary and are delighted to welcome members of our Walsingham Cell Group.

There will be two further Taize services before Christmas:

Sunday 13th November, 6pm

Sunday 11th December, 6pm

All are welcome at these services!

Our Pilgrim Course begins THIS Tuesday 27^th September at Holy Trinity at 8.15 pm.

This Autumn we are asking the question ‘How Should Christians live?’ and will explore this question by looking at one of the core texts of the Christian Faith: The Commandments. The sessions last for an hour or so with some time for prayer, a Bible reading, a reflection on the reading and an opportunity for discussion.

If you:

• have recently started coming to church and
• want the chance to think and talk about the Christian faith,
• are thinking about preparing for baptism and confirmation
• or just want to ‘brush up’ on your faith…..

…then this group is for you!

Starting this week (13th September) there will either be a Holy Hour before the 7.30 pm Mass at Holy Trinity or a prayer/discussion group at 8.15, following the Mass. Holy Hour will be on Tuesdays 13th and 20th September and the ‘Pilgrim Course’ with opportunities for prayer and discussion will begin at 8.15 on 27th September.  All welcome.

The 2016 Stroud Green Festival is underway, and this Sunday 19th June we are having a special Festival Mass at 11.30am.  This will be followed by a Bring and Share Lunch.

If you would like to sing in the choir, there is a rehearsal at 9.30am on Sunday.

Many thanks to everyone who attended our annual Trinity Concert last Saturday- an impressive £1,100 was raised for All People All Places, the charity which coordinates the Winter Night Shelter in Haringey and Enfield.

It was a wonderful evening filled with a variety of music, including high quality performances from various soloists, St Aidan’s School and the Trinity Festival Choir and Orchestra, directed by Irena Henderson.
